Welp, I'm not usually one for reviews but sometimes there comes an exception.

Solar Nations 2 is... a product.
The political understanding underpinning the "what" of what different political directions is shoddy and seems informed by far right talking points - most of the socialist directions being totallitarian sliding into fascist, whilst Nazism and Fascism as general are portrayed positively. The cultural intigration side is very Great Replacement Theory derived. I thought this may have potential but its just laid bare right wing slop constructed in part with LLM Gen crap (read: Made With AI) from the "music", to images and what else i hesitate to think. Theres almost no nuance to the politic as a whole, some stuff is just plain strange - like Marxism being a religious belief? (yes, i know us wokiod lefties pray to Marx every night for some of Big Daddy Stalins girl-juice to turn the frogs gay or whatever). The culture war stuff is a bit *strange* being its a lot of few-year-old culture war stuff, maybe Alex Jones is still riding on that?

After consulting with the Gay Woke Cabal, I cant reccommend this game. ChatGPT made a Great Premise, abysmal implimentation.

And then theres the UI.
Think British Govornment dealing with Mandelson clunky.
Research seems to do nothing, building stuff in places is just *build factory, get X* without a resource chain of Material-Processed-Goods/Research.

I'd type more, but honestly its not worth it.

Only half as wet as I thought it would be.

Still ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Needs serious work from the Devs to get it back to Melevalon level fun.
Stutters are frequent, crashes are even more so - and i got a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ beast of a pc.

And Game Guard? The Kernel level ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on a PvE game that doesnt even stop cheating?
Why is it even here, it does literally nothing.

Same with it being HardDrive Optimised so the game is >140Gb where it could be <100Gb. Who even uses a HDD to play anymore, its 2025 ffs!!

Imma give it a few months for the Devs to ♥♥♥♥♥♥ a buncha stuff. Hopefully they pull their fingers out their ass and actually improve performance.

Honestly, I do love War Thunder.
I have fun most of the time I play, I've spent money on the game for years and its slowly gotten to this point where its taken the community to Review Bomb and literally plan to go on strike in order to have a modicum of Gaijin's ear to whisper what we want into.

Its too much man, we still have issues we've been asking and shouting to get fixed for years.

Once upon a time I went to the forum, wrote a post on why we needed to reduce BR compression and why i thought the vehicles I moved deserved to be moved. It was detailed, it had snips from the game, it had win rate calculations. I spent hours curating a post which had every reason to be taken for consideration for implementation.
I admit it would need curation before implementation as I, after 8 years of playing almost every day for 4-10 hours a day, don't have access to every vehicle.
But it was removed for improper use of captioning without saying what captioned image it was.

Thus free speach is limited and nothing we actually want is implemented, just new top tier vehicles that the Average player will never experience without buying a full lineup of premium top teir vehicles - something that was said would never be implemented way back pre-2016.

To summarise
War Thunder is a great game, but its poorly managed and the creative vision is skewed by the deep black veils of rampant greed carried by a Dev Studio who had great potential but Lost their way within their Success.
Play it, have fun in it. But be wary, for eventually Gaijin may come for you and your Silver Lions too.


And when they come for you, there might not be anyone else left to speak up for you.
