Interesting game actually, really well polished for early access. Needs some QOL features like some way to delete items, auto sort storage (not invent), and please god give us a car. Walking for like 4/6 hours of gameplay gets annoying fast.

This game is so addicting I stayed up until 7:00am on accident playing. I forgot to eat for over 14 hours and made myself sick from starvation. Haven't gotten a single chore or piece of school work done in days. Uninstalling so I can actually write this review. Never in my life have I ever been this addicted to a game. 10/10 you will never play or do anything else ever again. I have 53 hours of playtime in my 4 days of ownership....

Really fun gameplay without the egregious monetization that similar games in the genre have.

TLDR: game boring, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ EA open world, no content, existing content is lame, full of chores in a sad attempt to force you to play more, lacks soul.

Originally I rated the game well. My review was a postive. But after putting in 150 hours the game is extremely boring all around. Extremely disapointed. I am a fan of the borderlands series but this one is the most mid entry to date. The story was okay, the side quests were actually really good, hell I cried laughing at one of the claptrap side quests. But after that everything is so boring. The open world is mostly empty unless your at a camp or whatever. the stupid collectables are such a waste of time for the most part. They give you little to no rewards for completing them, straight from the terrible design of EA open worlds. Bosses are all copys of regular enemies with no interesting anything other than paint job and size difference. The only bosses I remember are main story bosses and ones that have an annoying mechanic. 7/10 legendary guns you get are completely useless and for the most part all feel similar. All the new gun manufactures are bad and annoying to use, plus two of them have the same mechanic of charging the weapon, because thats what people want, to wait a second or two before you can shoot an enemy. Late game content is lackluster, rewards for the big cool vault raids are just minor jetpack upgrades. Final vault literaly has 4 chests that for me dropped all green loot on first playthrough. The headhunter packs are decent but not enough content. Vault hunters are all really fun to play but super mid personality wise. Their backstories are uninteresting with the exception of rafa. I played basically only Amon, his lines were okay, not annoying but bordering on it most of the time. Again rafa is the exception to all my gripes with voicelines and backstory. Almost every new feature adds nothing to the overall experience. Grappling is fun with the canisters for the first 5 minutes or good for chucking the ice cans at your friends in multiplayer but definitely could have just had ramps or something. And dont even get me started on that stupid holding in your hand mechanic, that one is beyond annoying and made to just force you to walk across half the map for some reason. All around this game is just a mid experience, worst of all it made me wanna play BL3 again because that game didnt have extremely annoying enemy types or misson sections in opposite sides of map.

So much fun, clearly took a lot of inspiration from games in the genre but 10/10 nonetheless.

10/10 game. So much fun to play with my friends. DLCs are really good if a little expensive for the amount of content you get. Still the heros for the game are all fun and have their niches.

Actually very fun game! Combat is a little dry and the fun comes from the tense feeling of losing your stuff but the immersion is nothing like I have ever seen in a video game. It feels like it is a very accurate depiction of what you surviving a zombie outbreak would look like. 9/10

Game is very accurate to WW2 but if you wanna experience it then enjoy spending most of it looking at a respawn screen. Unless you get to play sniper which good luck you will need a god PC and an SSD in order to load fast enough to get it, or if you want all the kills with none of the fun and skill then play the click to ruin fun button AKA mortar. Mortar, while yes accurate to history is not fun in the slightest, its like if battlefield 1 made grenade spam its own class. Its not fun to play and it not fun to have all your spawns blow up and insta die before you can play. To that end attacking and defending points are not fun, attacking means you will most likely be staring at respawn screens for almost 45% of the match (actually did the math on that and it was on the D-day map assuming each spawn takes 25 seconds) or you can defend in which most of your teammates leave you while you sit there waiting for an enemy to show up. Furthermore lets talk teammates, as most people you meet will not have mics, or just wont talk. And the roles are even worse, commander and officer are basically meaningless as nobody listens at all and just do their own thing 70% of the time and they never go roles that are needed like engi and supp because they are boring just like everything else in this game. Even the coding is garbage. I have a RTX 3080ti, 32gb RAM, ryzen 7 5800x, SDD, the whole shebang and I still have blue screened 3 times in my 67 hours. This not mentioning the ♥♥♥♥ hit reg where I can shoot a guy 3 times (verified with sound and I had 50 ping) and he can still turn around and headshot me. The guns are supposed to either 1 or 2 shot and this wasn't even an odd occurance, this ♥♥♥♥ happened every 4-5 kills. The only thing they got right was the title, hell let loose, only its hell let loose on fun because good luck having any.

This game is hot ass. It is only worth playing if you want a better hero shooter than Overwatch 2.

The good:
There are a ton of really fun characters to play and they all have very unique play styles that you can tweak to your liking with cards. The items are a decent way of countering certain play styles and strategies that dominate. There are also a bunch of cool skins for every character.

The bad:
I have seen alphas with less bugs than this garbage. Just before writing this review the game crashed so hard it froze one of my screens for a solid hour before I was able to fix it by restarting a few times. The game regularly has connection and game breaking bugs in 1 out of 7 matches. Matchmaking is an absolute joke. The amount of times I have been put in matches with people who have well over 2000 hours in the game is unreal. I think the best part about all of this is if they spent a fraction of the time and effort they put into overpriced skins, they would actually have a really good game. But instead they let bugs continue to be issues for months or even years and have zero balancing to speak of if they didn't have items. There are a few champs that are super overpowered and need to be nerfed but instead we get a bunch of new $15 skins. Fun fact, the game is so buggy and garbage that almost every time I have tried to buy a skin some error or something happens that prevents me from purchasing currency. You probably won't have to see that bug though because it affects Hirez's money so that bug will get fixed within the hour, only for a new one to take its place. Don't even get me started on the currency amounts they give you at each price and the cost of some of the skins, I mean those tactics have to be some sort of crime.

TLDR; The game has a good base but is massively overshadowed by 0 balance and a ludicrous amount of bugs.
