This game was already good 5 years ago and has only gotten _significantly_ better. GOTY for sure. The 1.0 release just adds so much polish. Its the product of a game maker actually listening to feedback, and it feels sooo good. Tons of qol features and little story references that make the already rock solid core game loop just that much better. It was so good that I played it 500h on Epic, and then bought it a second time on steam just for the 1.0 release.

Game crashed three times in the first 4 hours. Fun game play. Relaxing but also compelling. Can't recommend yet though. To many glitches and crashes. My menus stopped being clickable for example, I could only used WASD to navigate. Also every time I put a ship frame into the furnace (a core part of the gameplay), the game grinds to a halt. I am getting 60+ fps easy most of the time on 1440p with graphics set high, then I start getting 1 fps or less....

I wanted to like this game, I LOVED the previous one, but there are so many graphics glitches still, that I find it to be too irritating to play. Also, I was forced to watch a child fall out of a burning building and die like 10 times in a row because I couldn't find one ledge. I would apperciate if the interspersed cut scenes were, I don't know, not like that? I still can't get over the graphics problem though, like water in this game keeps disappearing and reappearing as I rotate my camera around it completely breaks immersion which is like the whole point of buying this game which is.....to feel like a tomb raider.

Edit: Also I am rocking a less than standard setup (2x Nvidia Titan Pascals with 4k monitor) so that could be the problem, but I haven't really had issues with other games sooo....?

Its an alright game, I just don't like how its setup. ADS is a nessesity for me so 4/10 would not bang.
