Incredibly unfun slide

There is so much talent and love on display here, the level design is incredible and the art/ textures are incredible.
Along with all the subtle functional and gameplay features, that make it a real game and not just a copy/ clone.
I think the 1 criticism I have atm that is the 1 im thinking about the most, its that there is room for more 'life' in levels, sure the level design is possibly the best I've seen in terms of geometry/ geography/ function and enemies, but sometimes it seems almost sterile (or more sterile than the levels 'character' sort of suggests..) at times, either between fights or during them. I dont know but I think something like more dialogue and barks for 'Shelly' and enemies to say during combat or more general ambient dialogue etc, might be one way to break up the 'rail shooter-iness' of some of the sections. (which isnt to say that some sections are like a rail shooter or that there isnt already tons of character in levels outside of just 'run and gun'), theres no bald patches, but theres room for more hair ontop of some of the less hairy areas. (?)

Better than I remember, with a bunch of handy quality of life tweaks
