➜ (+) Pros:

✦ The remake did a very competent job of turning an old game into something beautiful to look at and fun to play without losing its identity. The cities, forests, deserts, castles, and dungeons all have personality, vivid colors, and a presentation that gives off the feeling that you are a kid again, experiencing an incredible game.
✦ The music fits the atmosphere that the visuals manage to create.
✦ The game is flawless in terms of gameplay feel, your character moves smoothly, with no bugs, glitches, FPS drops, etc.
✦ The mechanics are easy to understand, and the gameplay loop is perfect for the an oldschool action JRPG.
✦ The game has replay value, you could easily spend 100+ hours with it. Also it has new game plus and you can choose a main character and two companions at the start of the game, this will change the last boss.
✦ The combos and abilities are simple, but they are well done and fun to use, and you can easily get lost in the number of class options for the different characters. Also, the characters are well designed and unique, and none of them feels much better than the others.
✦ The monsters you fight feel a lot like GrandChase and MapleStory, they look great and have different mechanics (all simple but fun). Their weaknesses are also interesting and simple enough that you do not need to waste time figuring them out.
✦ The game runs on almost any PC. If you have a 4K monitor, it looks perfect.
✦ No other game in the Mana series gets it right quite like this one.

➜ (~) You should know:

✦ Do not forget to press R3 to lock onto an enemy. I spent about 3 hours playing without using this. Also, don't forget to hold Y to charge a stronger atk.
✦ Do not forget to use combos; do not just keep spamming B without pressing Y or X to reposition yourself. (B + Y = Repel) (B + B + Y = Area Damage)
✦ Look up which characters share the same story. It may be interesting to choose the two characters that interact the most with each other for your party.
✦ Even though the game is easy enough for any class to work, some are stronger than others. Watching a quick YouTube video can already give you an idea of which stats to invest in and which classes to choose for a party that better matches your tastes.
✦ Leveling past the point the story currently expects is not hard at all; just fight everything you see instead of running away and repeat a few paths.

➜ (-) Cons:

✦ I played for 7 hours and did not find any outfit changes for the characters; equipment does not change your clothes, only your weapon. Maybe it changes only if you change class.
✦ The “moves” also take a long time to appear, leaving my slot empty for quite a while.
✦ 90% of the loot you collect in the first 7 hours of the game will be consumables that are not even remotely essential for progression.
✦ The allies’ AI does not use their abilities often, and many times it feels like they are not playing properly. I recommend using Duran as a Paladin; he works well with AI.
✦ There do not seem to be any “real” side quests. You talk to a few NPCs tied to the story to receive abilities.
✦ You can go through your companions’ story, but you do not keep items or EXP.
✦ I just wish it were a little harder. Even on the “hard” difficulty, I was still able to get through the game using almost no potions, I have 99 of them already.
✦ No co-op. No multiplayer. At least local co-op would have been great.

I wish Visions of Mana had been a better version of Trials of Mana, but unfortunately it is a worse version in almost every aspect.

This game is incredible. Its addicting to do all the quests and side stuff so you are strong to face anything on the main story or parallel quests.

This game is really BAD.
Its pure gacha and a waste of your time.
Play the Classic World, its way better in every way.

It's just perfect. I love it.
