The game is a bit of Minecraft building, with survival mechanics and a dash of tower defense style play. It's been one of my favorite games for a while. The only downside is that they are extremely slow on updates. Alpha 15 to 16 was 8 months. Alpha 16 to 17 was over 18 months. They would do much better if they released smaller more frequent updates and were less defensive when players ask for progress milestones.

The building and tech tree for the game are excellent. Resource gathering and construction feel good.

Primary complaint is regarding the meta-game progression. A survival game is too long of a gameplay loop for 'rogue-like' elements. This should be refined.
