Probably the best deck-building roguelite I've ever played. Just endless variety in builds, runs, etc. Somehow extremely well balanced despite that too! Totally earns in popularity.

A dark game, but one that reflects a reality many face, and does so in an engaging and even fun way. Worth playing if you are into this genre and don't mind some depressing themes.

Fantastic puzzle game with cool psychedelic visuals and a nice moving pace - most of the puzzles are just tricky enough to take a bit of time, but simple enough to not get you stuck for too long.

A solid story-driven game. Seriously flawed due to not being able to skip anything, making re-play to explore different story paths a real chore, but otherwise really well executed all around and worth playing.

Fantastic game / interactive media experience / whatever you want to call this. Especially enjoyable if you are a fan of cinema and its history, but in general just very well done and legitimately engaging despite the range of what you can do being pretty limited.

A worthy sequel to the already great Shadow of Mordor. As with the first game, the storytelling is kind of terrible in terms of pacing and focus, but the gameplay is a ton of fun and the nemesis system is much expanded upon in all the right ways. I even liked the online elements! Definitely play this if you liked the first one.

A fun little adventure! This has a lot in common with Assassin's creed (hold-A climbing/parkour, uncovering points in the map by climbing towers, a mix of stealth and parry-heavy sword fighting), but is executed well and adds enough new stuff (the LoTR setting, many cool orcs to fight, forcing the enemy to fight for you) to be interesting. It also avoids the mistake of throwing in hundreds of boring side quests and collectibles; I 100% finished the main campaign and all the DLCs in 18 hours, and was grateful to have almost no BS busywork to do in the open world. If the trailers make it seem like you'd enjoy it, play it!

PS works great on Steam Deck!

First, I totally get why many people dislike this DLC - the infinite-respawn fights are brutal and probably not fun for most. That being said, the game had become a total cake-walk for me by the point I got started on this (after most of the game's content), and this DLC finally presented me with actually challenges combat challenges. In fact, the DLC includes by far the most challenges in all of Wasteland 3, which required me to use all the tools at my disposal -- even once I never used in any other fights. So, I really enjoyed it! The writing and setting are really good too, and are a nice change from the rest of Wasteland 3.

So, you might enjoy this DLC if you want to challenged. Or you might hate it because it is too challenging. I'd say try it, but be ready for both outcomes.

Pretty nice addition to the base game. The overall setup and plot is pretty interesting and adds to the world-building, even if overall there is not much to the story here. There is quite a bit of comedy in this that I felt mostly worked, with some of it being better than anything in the base game. The new mechanic of disruption is a nice change of pace from not having non-lethal options, and the fights were generally fun. It's a bit expensive for the amount of content there is in here, but cost aside it's definitely a cool addition to the base game that was fun to play through.

A great little mystery story, somewhat boring in terms of its gameplay but kept interesting by fantastic visual design and a brisk pace. Avoid if you think a game about walking around and looking at things is bound to be boring, otherwise give it a try!
