Miss this game a lot. I hope one day someone will buy the rights to it and reboot it. One of the most fun and unique Live service games I've played.

I'm gonna start by saying I do recommend the game and I think it's worth the price point (granted, I was gifted the game by my girlfriend). The game gave heavy What Remains of Edith Finch vibes with some survival horror and puzzles. It doesn't overstay it's welcome and delivers a solid experience that is cool to see from a small game developer pursuing his passion

6/10
Pros:
- Story was solid
- Interesting puzzles and mechanics
- Good visuals and environment design
- Great voice acting and music
- Solid sense of progression
- Aleks Le is in it (albeit barely but still cool lmao)
Cons:
- Gunplay feels terrible
- Relatability hurt a lot by some dev decisions I didn't like
- The attempt to feel personal/indie can be overbearing at times

My thoughts:

The story was pretty good and felt super relatable, specifically with how the character was experiencing creative burnout/block. The voice acting was AMAZING as well. I enjoyed the story quit a lot but I gotta say, I understand the game is supposed to have a personal indie vibe to it but it honestly felt way too self-absorbed in my opinion. I understand that maybe goes directly against the message of the game, worrying too much about what other people think about your work when you should be doing it the way you want to. I just felt that the relatability that was so strong was wiped out by the game centering so much around the developer Connor Rush. I empathize with his struggles and telling his story but it felt out of place within the game to be honest. I wish he just kept everything within the context of the game.

I also wasn't a fan of the game constantly saying it was thankful for you being there and stuff, it just felt off-putting for some reason. That being said the gameplay overall felt pretty good. I really enjoyed the puzzles and various mechanics though the gunplay could use A LOT of work. Maybe it's because I just played Resident Evil Requiem but boy did the guns feel awful. The game would've probably been better without any combat or crafting to be honest.

Lastly, the game really does look quite beautiful all things considered and I enjoyed the environment and atmosphere that was crafted in the game.

This is a huge step up from Summerland though which I remember playing back in 2021 when I was first getting into pc games. I'm a game developer as well and I can feel the passion and growth in this game and I look forwards to seeing what Fyre Games puts out next.

One the most deeply engaging and immersive game experiences I've had. Just extremely fun, scary, and exciting. The progression works amazingly and the environment design is arguably the best I've ever experienced in a game. The main complaint I have is even though the game is all about exploration, I found myself struggling to know where to go towards the end of the game. That may just be me being stupid but I had to look up a couple things. Fantastic game and one of the greatest ever!

Second best Telltale game and probably one of the more unique games I've ever played. The visuals of this game are also absolutely stunning, complimented by the banger soundtrack, it's crazy this game out in 2013.

Just an absolute blast of a game that felt really unique both visually and gameplay-wise. I found the story to be really intriguing the whole time and all the characters felt unique and interesting. Basically like a single-player clue with way more mixed in. Also, I know the time mechanic may be off-putting at first but I promise you it's actually quite a good mechanic.

I remember playing this game until 6am in college because I just couldn't put it down. From the visuals and sounds track, to the detective mechanics and sound design. Everything is just done so well and the game feel like just the right level of difficulty to be extremely satisfying without frustration. One of the most unique games I've played and one of my favorites. I really hope more games like this get made.

A lot of people have various issues with the game but this is roughly tied for my second favorite Resident Evil Game after Biohazard. The environment design and enemy designs are truly what set this game apart for me. I also felt that the narrative was actually one of the stronger ones in the series despite it's issues. Gameplay was fun and didn't lean too far into the action to where it left behind the survival horror. Super fun game with amazing settings (especially Demitrescu's Castle)

9/10 (Leon: 7.5/10, Grace: 10/10)

Honestly it did live up to my expectations as this is the first Resident Evil Game I've waited for release with baited breath since getting into the franchise. The Grace sections were perfect to me. Amazing survival horror on-par with Biohazard. I love Leon but the action sections just aren't what I'm super into but they were still fun nonetheless. The only real complaints I have are that the game just felt kind of short and that the narrative felt kind of meh though this is in part due to the length. Also Leon with no Ada appearance just feels wrong.

The pinnacle of survival horror for me. Probably my favorite Resident Evil game in the franchise only really competing with Grace's gameplay in Requiem. Also, a fantastic place to start getting into the franchise. (this is where I started)

Fantastic game despite not really being my favorite as I prefer survival horror over action as well as first-person. Nonetheless, absolutely worth playing. Enjoyable gameplay with great settings, characters, boss fights, progression, and narrative.
