If you get motion sick easily, do not even consider trying this game.
If you think you have the stomach for it, this game is phenomenal. More VR games should aspire to have this level of gameplay.

Honestly not sure why so many people hate the latest update. I only started playing since then, but its a really fun game. The combat feels nice, both PVE gamemodes are challenging and fun, pvp feels good and casual. Sure the game needs some work, but I haven't had any actual issues.

They have fixed the servers.
The game itself is fun, and a huge upgrade over payday 2 mechanically, but it is currently barebones.

They did not update this game to fix some issues on some cards, however since my last review, the community has found a fix (for me at least)

The game is VERY good, with a lot of interesting movement tech, and a LOT of replayability, without spoiling anything, I will say the ending to the story is a copout, but the actual lore and effort put into this game, and deliver an experience through data logs, voice lines, and cutscenes. the world feels alive.

My favorite part about this game is how it can often make you feel like a trapped rat scrambling for dear life.
I was extremely skeptical about the concept of a horror action roguelike, but this game manages to convey existential dread, while also getting you immersed enough in gameplay that you constantly fear for your life.

This game is NOT easy, it does NOT have an easy mode, and you will not be able to pry the story from this games iron grip without exceptional skill and practice, so if you're prepared for that sort of experience, definitely get this game.

This cannot even be fixed with mods. Seriously, don't make the same mistake I did.

So, not only is this game PHENOMENAL by itself, but thanks to a very brilliant group of people, there is also a vr mod that functions exceptionally well (Yes with motion controls), and even though the game was already really good, playing it in VR is a whole other experience.

9/10 for a flatscreen game

Its a very good game for what it is. If you like killing floor, its kinda similar, just VR.

Four things you need to know before you buy.
There will be no more updates to the game ever.
Its difficult to turn with the controller if your headset is newer than the game is.
You will never find a public match, you must already have a friend to play with.
The game is poorly balanced to play by yourself on higher difficulties. Insanely difficult solo.

If none of this is a problem for you, it is absolutely worth the money.

Literally crashes after a minute. Impossible to play. Devs are silent on the issue despite a lot of people having it.

This game is incredibly difficult in a good way.
You have a ranged weapon with rapid fire or charge, you can block, and you can charge your melee attacks or chain them. You as the player are provided with an incredibly powerful arsenal, but... These enemies are smart. They seem to adapt to your strategies, so if you think you can mow down a boss by blocking and charging at the right moment... well prepare to be charged yourself.

Truly incredible gem. You won't even notice that it's early access. It's only version 0.2, and it still feels like a full game. I definitely got what I paid for as is and you will too.
Stellar voice acting, fast paced strategic combat, no shortage of things to do, so many colorful characters.
I cannot recommend it enough.
