The Ghost of Pripyat
The warning signs in Cyrillic have long faded, bleached by winters of radioactive snow, but the grid never truly sleeps.

For me, perfection isn’t found in the grand arches of Mirage or the dusty corridors of Dust II. It’s found here, in the shadow of the Chernobyl Power Plant. It’s the echo of a flashbang tearing through the rusted roof of A-Main. It’s the breathless, pixel-perfect hold from Quad, watching the blue shipping containers for a single pixel of movement.

I’ve bled for every inch of Middle. I’ve held Vents with nothing but a CZ-75 and a prayer, and I’ve watched the bomb timer tick down in B-Site while the sun sets pale through the cracked skylights.

People say Cache is a relic of the past, left to be reclaimed by the weeds and the concrete dust. But to me, it’s home. The defuse kit is clicked. The smoke is popping at Checkers.
