Worth it, one of the best game ever made just go for it without any doubts. Really engaging and best in the series. Hated being forced into tank battles

By far the worst of the trilogy (and origins).

Other than the graphics, which this game is still one of the best looking even today, I cannot think of anything this game does better than City. More is not always better, especially when it comes to combat. I prefer City's combat for its freeflow and simplicity. The combat in this game feels clunky and the auto targeting system is horrendous compared to City. I'm looking directly at an enemy and Batman will go take down a villain to his side. There are too many combat options for its own good. The quickfire gadgets also suffer from horrendous targeting. I can't even quickfire batclaw a riddler trophy in front of me without missing several times. Scanning objects also has to be a very precise angle to trigger, unlike City where you just have to look at it and scan.

By far the worst aspect of this game is the batmobile (shocker, I know). I didn't mind the bat tank sections as much as others, although it can get ridiculous with the stupid seeking missiles. My biggest gripe was everything else you had to use the batmobile for. Racing, puzzles (a LOT of them), the stupid buggy sonar riddles, any side missions that force the batmobile into it. They were all dreadful and one of my worst gaming experiences simply because they were boring, repetitive, and a chore to do.

Just as bad: It is TERRIBLY optimized. Even after all these years... I have never run into ANY glitches/bugs in the previous games but I am CONSTANTLY running into them in this game. There are several times where I've had to restart from checkpoint because a cutscene fails to trigger or enemies glitch through floors when I try takedowns. It's quite embarrassing considering how flawlessly optimized the past games are.

I 100%ed all achievements in Asylum and City in record times and played through origins multiple times. I'm struggling to even get through this game once. It feels like too much of everything. Some side missions are very lackluster. Overall, not nearly as fun as the previous installments.

*I will update this review if my opinions change... although that's not likely since I've already experienced most of what this game has to offer.*
