About a year ago we decided to make our first video game. We called it "Grannies on Wheels".

The goal was to understand what the whole process looks like from start to finish and to get the first game released on Steam. None of us had ever done that before.

Our original plan was to finish the game by the end of 2025. Now, one year later, we’re planning to release Grannies on Wheels in early 2027.

So what have we learned along the way?

• That teamwork and how well people fit together matter more than anything.

• That having a clear plan is very important but you also need to hold onto it playfully.

• That the feeling of watching other people play the game you made and having fun while doing it is something magical.

So this feels like a good moment to look back at where we came from and how it all started.

We’ve reached a point in Grannies on Wheels development where we’re ready to start public beta testing and we want you to join the chaos.

Learn the core mechanics before jumping into battle. No boring tutorials, just pure granny energy.

Take on your friends or enemies across:

• Beach

• Rug

• Skate

Play modes like Smash, Run, and Tag, each with its own flavour of chaos.

AI-controlled grannies are in the game but they might need a little… encouragement.

If they don’t move, give them a gentle nudge. Or a big one!

This is an Early Beta. Expect bugs, weird moments and things breaking.

We’re actively improving the game and your feedback will directly shape it!
