I suppose this is a spoiler-ful review but without spoiling anything, this is the first time I've ever played an auto-walking sim. I suppose it's realistic to how it actually feels to walk at night. You just kinda move forward and eventually reach somewhere. It's nice, and I suppose it's peaceful, but for such a barebones game it made me worried for my PC.

spoiling things, the game seems to be trying to be meditative. You walk, and make simple choices. The walk isn't very long, and I went through all 4 endings in under 30 minutes. That's not speedrunning, there is no speed or running, the game plays itself. I suppose it's a patience tester, and luckily I have patience in spades. The messages it plays are random, and have no care for if they're repeating themselves. There's no music, and no settings. The lights are very bright and hard to look at. One time the messages insisted that I "regretted turning right" when I actually turned left.

There's no scares either, unless you're spooked by a random owl. That's okay, I think that's the point. The dressing can be a little scary, as it normally is at night. For such a slow game, you also go places. I was shocked that we reached the buildings in the distance at the end of one of the walks. Something that also shocked me was the performance. It made my PC really hot. This game looks like it shouldn't be so rough, but maybe it's the trees? or the mushrooms? or maybe the lighting is extra advanced? I have no clue.

I recommend this game, but only because it's free and I like to small support developers, no matter how amateur or small.
