The game shuts down seconds after launching, before it even reaches the main menu 100% of the time. I've played my Steam copy of ArmA plenty of times before on my old PC, so I have no clue why this is suddenly an issue. So I have just started playing the game for the first time. I finished OPERATION FLASHPOINT / ARMA COLD WAR ASSAULTS yesterday and I couldn't wait to finally play something newer after so many years. First mission where I actually get to shoot at someone (with a sniper rifle) and they are like feckin' bullet sponges... Even in Half-Life enemies die faster... WTF is sh1t? I came from the world where 1 or 2 bullets kills you. Mostly just 1. And what the hell is going on here!? This can't be real... can it?...
