I dont get it I looked at like 4 different websites, all saying stuff like "turn off vsync" and stuff like that. ive tried everything and nothing works. help please?

Please help. I got all the mods installed outside minimalist, and I even enjoy Thief 4 quite a bit (replayed several times on maximum difficulty and challenge runs). This game, though, feels significantly less polished than even Thief 4. I can see how Thief 4 got most of its inspirations and design philosophies from this game, but this game just has so much wonkiness to it. Is it because I'm playing in first person? I recommend getting the EAX features enabled for the optimal experience. Otherwise, the voice lines sound like they were recorded in someone's living room.
