ABOUT Bakemonogatari

Bakemonogatari centers on Koyomi Araragi, a third year high school student who is almost human again after briefly becoming a vampire. One day, a classmate named Hitagi Senjogahara, who infamously never talks to anyone, falls down the stairs into Koyomi?s arms. He discovers that Hitagi weighs next to nothing, in defiance of physics. After being threatened by her, Koyomi offers her help, and introduces her to Meme Oshino, a middle-aged homeless man who helped him stop being a vampire.

Kizumonogatari

A flyer included with NisiOisin's Nekomonogatari light novel has announced on Wednesday that production on a third NisiOisin anime project, Kizumonogatari, has been green-lit. This will be the latest NisiOisin work to be animated after Bakemonogatari and Katanagatari. The one-volume Kizumonogatari story is a prequel to the Bakemonogatari light novel series.

The flyer's copyright lists NisiOisin himself, the light novel's publisher Kodansha, the production company Aniplex, and the anime studio SHAFT.

The online retailer Amazon in Japan had listed Blu-ray and DVD editions of Kizumonogatari and Nisemonogatari — the prequel and sequel, respectively, to Bakemonogatari — in January, but those listings have since been removed.
