Woah pal, I'm with da Beekeepas' Union!

Established in 1889, The Missouri State Beekeepers Association is the forefront Union for Beekeepers and Beekeeping-adjacent professions, our mission at the MBSA is:

- To educate and inform the general public and the beekeeper
- To promote beekeeping ,advise and support all beekeepers, from the backyard hobbyist to the commercial pollinator
- Provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and mutual support in the keeping of honey bees and the marketing of honey
- Share our insights and passion for beekeeping to help others grow in their appreciation and enjoyment of keeping bees
- Encourage the beginner beekeeper and help to establish first-time beekeepers in the success of their efforts
- Become a resource of materials and equipment.

Good morning Beelievers!

We have a new administrator stepping in to help fill the hole left behind by the tragic passing of our previous admin, who, for personal and legal reasons, I have been advised not to state publicly by my lawyer.

Regarding our first bi-weekly methaqualone session!

This morning we hosted our first bi-weekly Quaalude session, and it was a major success! Thank you to all who joined us.

There's a few questions participants asked us that we felt needed clarification; by "bi-weekly" we mean every two weeks, not twice per week, as much as we would all enjoy that, we have work to do and cannot afford to burn through our supply of lemons that quickly.

Another frequently received question by participants was "are you sure this is legal?" and to put it bluntly, no. We do not have the funds to hire a legal department, and I am the only literate person on staff, so we did not bother to check whether our event was in compliance with local laws. To be quite honest, none of us care, as our organization holds deeply anti-police values as a result of our association with the Black Panther Party in the 1960s.

That's all we have in terms of announcements for this week! Once again, thanks to all the people living inside my walls who came out today to join us abuse Quaaludes. We look forward to seeing you all again in 2 weeks time!
