Group for Deus Ex Game of the Year Edition

For those of you who are not aware, gamespy (the company that hosts the master server for deus ex) will be closing down the deus ex masterserver (along with many others).

What does this exactly mean? In short, you will not be able to query any server (i.e. the server list will be empty).

There will be a few solutions that the community is currently working on.

The first involves simply altering the deus ex configurations to use a different masterserver (a single one) as shown here: http://www.deusexnetwork.com/masterserver

UPDATE: The second solution involves a mod that will allow for multiple masterservers to be used to populate your server list. This mod is called DeusExMMS.u, for instructions of installing it and how to download it visit the FGS forum at http://www.gravity-world.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4371

This mod will list servers directly from the gamespy masterserver (which will go down at the end of May), from master.dxmp.in which is a masterserver hosted by the creator of the mod (Dejavu), as well as master2.oldunreal.com which is a masterserver ran by HDD21, a member of the Deus Ex community.

If this mod gets a revision, its likely we will see more additions to the number of masterservers queried by the mod.
