Come in! Don't worry, I don't bite! 👻

Hi everyone!

School season is creeping in for some and colder temperatures are coming back for others, but that doesn't mean gaming has to stop. Whether you need a little break between lectures or just want a small treat after a long autumnal day at work, here are some games that have my seal of approval and which are on sale at the moment:

• A Tower Full of Cats : An adorable and really relaxing hidden cat game that got a new free update in June 2025. Each stage of the tower covers a new historical era where you must find cats and little trinkets! It has a good playtime length for the genre (around 2.5 hours) and lots of accessibility options. • The Room Two : Another short game to pick up between Pomodoro timers! The Room Two offers 6 distinct chapters over around 2.5 hours of pure mysterious ambiance and cryptic 3D puzzles. Only the second game is currently on sale, but you don't need to complete the first to play the second (even though it's better for immersion). On sale until September 13th, 2025!
  
  
• Polimines : A mix of nonograms and minesweeper which requires no guessing. It is a great challenge for those liking pure minimalistic puzzles with simple controls. It is currently dirt cheap and definitely worth a look to play a level or two during a coffee break. On sale until September 22nd, 2025!
  
  
• The Edge of Allegoria : A longer playtime recommendation for my fellow burnt-out university students that just need a good laugh and a taste of nostalgia from time to time. It is an immature Pokemon-like parody where you try saving the world from the big bad guy (classic cliché trope) while collecting questionable weapons and... herbs? Anyway, it differs a lot from my usual content, but go take a look if mono-colored pixel art and weird cults are your jam. On sale until September 15th, 2025!
