To protect your chests with lockette, simply place a sign on the chest and it will be protected. You can use the /lockette command for more information. More users can be added to the protection by right clicking the sign, and using the /lockette <linenumber> <playername> command.

The reason LWC was discontinued on Goldcraft is that every time someone locks or unlocks a chest, there is a huge lag spike. This has cleared that issue up.
