Kamyshovo, or "Kamy" for short, is a small town northeast of Elektrozavodsk on the southern coast.


It is one of the most well-known towns in all of Chernarus due to being situated along the coast where most players spawn. Even those that do not spawn here will more than likely pass through it on their way to somewhere else, so the likelihood of seeing someone else here is extremely high. This makes a Survivor hotspot of the police station in the town center.threat level of this area.

The coastline of Kamyshovo is dotted with islands of varying sizes referred to as the "Bird Archipelago".

There are also two large hills to both the northeast and northwest of the town, making it easy for snipers to overlook almost the entire town,
