Welcome, this group is for anyone that is a fan of the Union Pacific Railroad, any of it's predecessors, and any of my friends if you want to join. My thanks goes to JohnTrainHead for the name of the group. The Union Pacific is a part of American history, as it was one of two railroads that made the first transcontinental railroad, the other being the Central Pacific. It was completed in Promontory Summit, Utah on May 10, 1869.
