Minecraft 1.8 ... and Bukkit is Dead

Greetings. I niw have a vanilla Minecraft 1.8 server running on the usual default port of yggdrasyl.dyndns.org:25565, if anyone wants to try the new bandwidth.
It's a fresh 1.8 world, with many stupid fat nazi death ray fish.

I still have the 1.7.10 Spigot server up often, but Bukkit is dead and cannot be updated, so it's likely that a modded 1.8 server will be Forge-modded, probably using the in-development Sponge API coremod. See spongepowered.org for more info - it's a convergence of most of minecraft's modding community, who want something much better than bukkit could ever offer.
Provided Micro$oft don't ♥♥♥♥ it all up.

SIRIUS Server has been closed (lack of use and persistent crashes). Yggdrasyl will be revamped and relaunched sometime in the next few days. Have a Merry Saturnalia, denizens!
