Welcome to the official Boss Rush Mode 2 group.

This group provides as a hub for specific events as well as server hosting for Boss Rush Mode 2; a custom Left 4 Dead 2 gamemode that provides a unique gameplay experience unlike anything seen in Left 4 Dead before, but with Special Infected only!
With hours upon hours of new content to experience and over a thousand command lines to make it happen, Boss Rush Mode 2 is a revival of a project I started around 5 years ago and has since been revamped with even more content.

Campaign 2 (Dark Carnival) in stable beta

I feel strongly enough that the content I have in campaign 2 of Boss Rush Mode is worthy of public beta tests, though first-time players will have to unlock it by beating campaign 1, or join the group as campaign 2 is more difficult.
It consists of a significantly larger variety of unique infected, and has the same amount of mega bosses as campaign 1. The campaign boss for campaign 2 is also a spitter-type.

Here is the current campaign wave list, which obviously is subject to modification at any time as campaign 2 is not in a full release yet.

Campaign 1 (No Mercy) is stable

Perhaps this 'update' is a bit late as it has been 'stable' for a while now, but Campaign 1 of Boss Rush Mode, being the No Mercy campaign and also the first campaign Boss Rush Mode was ever created on in the first place, is now stable and in a public release. This means 100% of the content in Campaign 1 is finished or ready to show random players.
