Civilization IV SteamPlay™

Group of Steam users who want to play their purchased Civilization IV Steam versions on their Macs but can't, even as valve stated that SteamPlay™ games are "purchase-once" and so don't need to be purchased again.

But even if we would want to, we couldn't purchase Civilization IV again, because we "already own it".

I still didn't finish downloadint the game at all :(

Hey, maybe change the description in the group profile now? The did fixit for us after all. There's no need to complain any more.

I hope they lower the price of the Civ IV colection soon, I really want it!

It is fixed! I restarted Steam, and everything loads just fine!

I don't think it is, but I had the same problem with the disc version. I have no idea why. Anyone had an experience like that running games? It seems like it may be related to it having opening FMVs?

I installed the game on my new macbook pro 13" and it won't run! It opens and then immediately closes the app. Same problem happened with spore when I installed that... anyone know why this would be?
