So in the absence of being able to update to 1.8 due to the drama between Mojang and Bukkit, and Microsoft now owning Minecraft, I've decided to play around with forge mods.

I've set up a Pixelmon Server.

You spawn in at a simple hut and I encourage you to explore out and make towns.
I'd like to get at least 8 towns.
A town must consist of at least one mayor and at least one gym leader.
Official town mayors will get land claiming commands from the Landlord plugin.
Once we've decided on official gyms, we can start Pixelmon League competitions.

towns and cities, I'd like them to be no more than 8000 blocks from (x,z) (o,o).

There will be no means of teleporting as you'll be able to fly, ride and swim on pokemon.

You'll also get a backpack. you do not lose items upon death. and I'm probably going to disable hunger.
Think peaceful mode with Pokemon.

You will warp to the nearest safe place upon all of your pokemon fainting.
(until we get more pokemon centers, the only safe place is spawn.)

Players will be able to create shops.

To get money initially, you'll be able to trade the vanilla minecraft EXP points to the server for currency.

MrCrayfish furniture mode and TreeCapitator.
