Dead or alive 6 announced with gameplay video

Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have announced Dead or Alive 6 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It will launch in early 2019.

"Shimbori in Famitsu: Costumes and characters change for DOA6 due to how "American female heroes used to be sexy with body lines emphasized, but now they are changing to sharp and cool things."

Also cites the "opinion that DOA series is embarrassing to play because the girls are too sexy." Everything is now to be made for "coolness" instead, like her black diving suit default costume is a "cool ninja suit". His team is currently "preparing as many costumes as possible" and he will choose the "cool" ones. "A turning point for the series."
