To all members of the =EGC= Highlander Team:

It all started when I read the TF2 blog post. I made a post on EGC's forum. One thing led to another, and suddenly I find myself as the leader of EGC's new competitive team, and I gotta say, it's been a thrilling ride. We've had many wins and many losses, we've all improved significantly as our respective classes, and we've made a lot of friends along the way.

I really appreciate the amount of time and effort we all put in to making this work, and I'm glad we made it to the end. After much joy, stress, and drama, it's finally over. Huge thanks go out to Sim, Blizzie, and the folks at EVGA for providing us with a server and for allowing us to represent them; jerro and Missa, for assisting with the moderation of the team; and all of you guys, for being awesome and playing skillfully.

While our competitive days may be over for now, I look forward to playing with all of you in TF2 and in other games. I'm probably going to take a break from competitive gaming for a while, but if EGC is to have another competitive team, I'm likely going to be on it, and I hope to see some of you there, too. Thanks once again for participating in the UGC league, and I wish good luck to all of you in your future ventures, gaming-related or not.
