fromis_9 is a South Korean girl group formed by CJ E&M through the 2017 reality show Idol School on Mnet, currently managed by ASND Label. The group's name, pronounced as "promise" in Korean, also means "to keep their promise to be the best girl group". It is currently composed of members Song Hayoung, Park Jiwon, Lee Chaeyoung, Lee Nagyung, and Baek Jiheon. Former member Jang Gyuri left in August 2022, while members Lee Saerom, Roh Jisun, and Lee Seoyeon left in January 2025, all following their contracts' expiries.
