We are the ones who game at the dawn of creativity

I'd like to take the opportunity to promote a great independant first person shooter callled Hawken! (It's not on Steam though, so don't complain that it doesn't exist.)

Basically you get to play as mechs and fight other mechs. That sounds awesome right? Well you're right,(I hope) it is!

The game sports beautiful graphics and smooth gameplay. My (Hysterically Accurate) PC isn't that amazing. It's mid-up-to-date (amd radeon 6670 hd) and I can handle everything maxed without anti-aliasing, achieving a very smooth experience.

As for the gameplay, I can't tell you much without it not being totally accurate. It's hard to explain the mechanics of the game but I can tell you about one thing. The classes! It features several different mech classes, similar to your traditional shooter classes but not as you would expect. Each of those classes contains several mechs to unlock. What I'm trying to get across your brain is the game has a lot of mechs.

Keep in mind the game is still in beta so don't expect much. The game has a lot already though. I mean A LOT. It is also incredably addicting. (Atleast in my opinion) Did I mention the game was free?

To conclude this announcement, Hawken is great game with a lot of potential and I hope to soon see you all on the battlefield in a mech...
