Virtual Team Ground

This server is dedicated to testing and updating the L4D2 add-ons I create. You can find all my workshop creations here:

Public players are welcome to play here freely! Please note that the server is mostly hosted in either Campaign or Survival mode, as my add-ons are designed exclusively for these game modes.



Method 1: Direct Connection
1. Make sure the server is currently empty (0/16 players).
2. Subscribe to this workshop collection so the server can automatically match and fill up with up to 8 random players later through matchmaking:

3. Launch Left 4 Dead 2. Once you are in the Main Menu, copy and paste this link into your web browser to connect:

Method 2: Create a Lobby
- Alternatively, you can create a new game from the Lobby. Select any map or chapter you want, set the server type to "Steam Group Server", and choose the VTG server from the list. (Note: You must join this Steam Group first for the server to appear).
- You can start the game immediately, even by yourself with the add-ons active. The server will gradually fill with up to 8 random players via public matchmaking.
- Since the server supports extra slots, players 9 through 12 can join manually via the Steam Group server list, or by copying and pasting this link into a web browser:
