I usually do not enjoy playing old, dated games, especially first person shooters. But this game is absolutely top quality even now. I got very easily immersed and absolutely forgot that the game was released more than 13 years ago.

The whole gameplay revolves around enemy suppression and flanking. It can get repetitive, but...
The squad commands are amazing, especially when you got a tank in your squad. Combined arms never felt better in a WW2 game. Hell, you can even mount the tank's MG and give commands from up there.
Aiming isn't as easy as, say, Call of Duty, which makes this game feel more authentic.

There's also an amazing "Extra" section, that shows behind the scenes of documenting the locations for recreation in the game, along with other stuff. Yes, the locations in the game are EXACTLY like in real life/WW2 photos.

The only issue I've found so far (most probable reason is incompatibility with nowadays hardware) is the fact, that you get stuck in "slowed time" for a long time after recovering from a nearby explosion.
