An accomplished scientist, who contributed immeasurably to the field of astronomy and the world as a whole. He gave a lot, and had more to offer still.

He was found dead today, March 14, 2018, at the age of 76, in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.

There will never be another like him, and he will be sorely missed for years to come.
