Если вы хотите закупиться более точечно, то в этом материале мы как раз собрали подборки из самых ходовых предметов, которые должны быть более востребованы в будущем.


Коллекция продержалась в игре чуть больше года и даже успела пережить саму карту Train, которую убрали в январе 2026 года. Однако её нахождение в The Armory Pass заканчивается именно из-за отсутствия Train в соревновательном маппуле. Ведь Overpass 2024 находится в игре куда дольше, но его почему-то не убирают (кстати, эта коллекция официально становится самой продолжительной среди оружейных).

Ни для кого не секрет, что VALVE любят избавляться именно от непопулярных (менее прибыльных) продуктов – значит, можно предполагать, что Train 2025 открывали не так часто. Обычно рынок реагирует на что-то подобное поднятием цен, но мы бы не рекомендовали избавляться от всех предметов сразу.

Если у вас есть возможность приобрести пару скинов от MW и выше, то это отличная инвестиция. Также можете воспользоваться умными фильтрами SIH на торговой площадке Steam и поискать FT-качество с флоатом, близким к 0.15 (такие предметы потенциально можно продать минимум на 50% выше рынка).

Вкладываться в скины, из которых крафтятся дорогие предметы всегда выгодно. Да, AWP | LongDog – не самый желанный, но стоит посмотреть на этот факт с другой стороны. В основном игроки тратят звёзды в погоне за самым «жирным» дропом, и за Тайным предметом в Train 2025 никто не гнался. Их открыли значительно меньше, а цена в основном складывается из редкости и AWP | LongDog вполне может удивить в этом плане.

Last week, in the second half of April 2026, a “Last Chance to Purchase” notice appeared on several collections in The Armory Pass. This means they will soon be removed from the pass and replaced with something new. Everyone expected it to happen on April 28th alongside the Cache release, but it looks like we’ll have to wait another week. Most likely, the old collections will be replaced by new ones from last year’s VALVE workshop competition, which concluded in March 2026.

While we wait for the winners to be announced, we still have a chance to spend our stars on collections that are guaranteed to become limited in the next major update.

If you want to invest more selectively, this article compiles the most sought-after items that should see stronger demand in the future.


The collection has been in the game for just over a year and even outlived the Train map itself, which was removed in January 2026. However, its time in The Armory Pass is now ending precisely because Train is no longer in the competitive map pool. Overpass 2024, for instance, has been in the game far longer and hasn’t been removed — making it officially the longest-running weapon collection in the pass.

It’s no secret that VALVE tends to cut unpopular (i.e., less profitable) products, which suggests Train 2025 wasn’t opened all that often. That’s another argument in favor of investing in these items, even if none of them ever became a standout fan favorite.

We strongly recommend not skipping this item. Opening the Train 2025 collection while it’s still available is worthwhile largely because of this skin. Restricted quality is very realistically obtainable, and pulling this skin in a high condition would be a great result.

If you can pick up a couple of MW-or-better copies, that’s an excellent investment. You can also use the smart SIH filters on the Steam marketplace to look for FT copies with a float close to 0.15 — those can potentially be sold for at least 50% above market price.

Investing in skins used to craft expensive items is always worthwhile. Sure, the AWP | LongDog isn’t the most coveted skin out there, but consider the other side of the coin: most players burn their stars chasing the biggest drops, and no one was really hunting for the Covert in Train 2025. Far fewer were opened, and rarity drives price — the AWP | LongDog could easily surprise people.

It has plenty of great skins, but that also means players opened it far more than anything else, and the marketplace is now oversaturated with these items. It’s good that VALVE decided to remove it — that will stop the price decline and eventually drive growth. Items will gradually disappear through crafts and banned accounts, which definitely farmed a lot of skins from this collection.

This is the last skin from the collection, and we wouldn’t recommend investing in the M4A1-S / Gradient itself (there are a lot of them, and more are coming). These two Pink skins can absolutely hold their own value independently and require far less capital.


This sticker collection is straightforward — they were designed from the ground up for sticker crafting. There are countless examples online of creative ways to apply them to weapons. Feel free to buy any of them (or spend your stars on them while you still can) — you won’t go wrong. That said, here are some of the most versatile options with the widest range of crafts:

The most unpredictable collection of the bunch, as it’s essentially a duplicate of the existing Sugarface Capsule Stickers. It was never quite clear why VALVE added it, and they may have realized that themselves. Very few people opened it — which means it’ll likely be scarce in the future — but who will actually want it is anyone’s guess. Picking up a few copies is fine, but don’t count on them as a serious investment.

April 28, 2026 will go down in Counter-Strike history. Valve released an update that brought one of the most iconic maps in the shooter’s history back to CS2 — de_cache. Seven years have passed since Cache was removed from the active map pool in March 2019, replaced by a reworked Vertigo. That decision was not well received at the time, and the wait stretched on for years. But today the map is back — and, in our view, it looks better than ever.
For now, Cache has been added to Competitive, Casual, Deathmatch, and Retakes modes, but it has not entered the pro scene or Premier map pool. That, however, is only a matter of time: in all likelihood, the map will make its way into the official pool after the IEM Cologne 2026 Major or with the start of CS2 Premier Season 5.


The first thing you notice when loading into the updated map is the light. Cache is significantly brighter — the dark corners that had been a headache for players for years are gone. The map feels slightly more open, and Valve clearly had competitive play in mind: readable angles, clean silhouettes, no visual clutter.
The key question with any remake of a classic is: how far did the developers go? With Cache, the answer is clear. The structure has been left untouched, while the visual shell has been almost completely reimagined, bringing a stronger sense of post-apocalyptic atmosphere. The map feels more realistic, detailed, and immersive — Source 2 is clearly running at full capacity here.
There is one thing worth highlighting that rarely gets talked about in CS2: stable FPS. Performance on the new version of the map is noticeably better, which matters enormously both for competitive play and for casual players. FACEIT has already updated to the current version of Cache as well, so get ready to see it picked constantly.


At first glance, Valve did not touch the balance — and rightly so. That said, a few details have changed:

• The door on A site no longer breaks. This significantly alters the dynamics of attacking and defending the bombsite: a number of familiar splits and timing-based pushes will need to be rethought.
  
• The mid window has been removed. One of the map’s key control points has a new look, which will affect standard mid-control plays.
  
• Wall bangs are preserved. This was Cache’s calling card — a map where knowing your wall bangs decided rounds just as well as clean aim. It is great to see this mechanic left intact. We cannot wait to hop on a server and pull off a VAC moment.

The story of the map’s return began in May 2025, when Cache’s original creator FMPONE confirmed that Valve had officially purchased the rights to the map. Before that, players could try the “original author’s” version through the Steam Workshop, and for a while it was setting the bar for expectations. When FACEIT added the map to its competitive queue, many players complained about issues — but FMPONE no longer had the right to make changes, so players suffered through the problems and kept picking it anyway.
The bottom line: Valve’s version is noticeably different from what FMPONE had offered.
FMPONE’s design was dark — especially in enclosed spaces. That style emphasized the grim post-Soviet aesthetic the author had originally built into the map. But that very darkness was apparently what did not sit well with Valve: nearly a year of work went into opening the map up while preserving its character.
A separate loss is the stained glass windows, which had been a distinctive feature of FMPONE’s indoor spaces. Unfortunate? Absolutely. But they were likely hurting performance, and they were removed in the name of stable frame rates. Valve also stripped out a number of iconic details: the s1mple graffiti, the “SOUTH-WEST MANAGEMENT” sign on A site, and the hammer-and-sickle symbol at B.
Valve ended up with a more readable, more competition-ready map. FMPONE had a more personal and atmospheric one. Both versions have their merits, but for the competitive pool, Valve’s take is the stronger fit.


Cache has always been built around the imagery of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, and Valve did not simply preserve that concept — they deepened it. The updated map contains an entire layer of historical detail that turns the playing space into a kind of memorial to the tragedy of 1986.

Details that give you chills:

• The clocks show 1:23 AM — the exact time of the explosion at Reactor No. 4
  
• Children’s drawings and toys scattered across the map — a silent reminder that life once existed here
  
• When a player approaches a dosimeter, the in-game audio begins to crackle and distort — a small detail that works perfectly

The response to the release was predictably warm — seven years of waiting have not been forgotten. The entire community has been welcoming this new-old creation from Valve with enthusiasm, and there is little doubt that this map will become a fan favorite for the majority of players.
Even s1mple himself was not particularly bothered by the absence of the graffiti, even though many fans still feel nostalgic and would love to see the famous image of the winged AWPer on the map. His reaction was brief and disarming:

He had previously complained on earlier versions of the remake that without the graffiti the map was “total garbage” — but right now, he looks happy.


Cache is back — and it came back properly. Valve spent nearly a year bringing the iconic map up to Source 2 standards, and the result speaks for itself: brighter, more comfortable, more detailed. The structure that players fell in love with is untouched, and the new details add genuine depth.
The wait for an official spot in the competitive map pool is not over yet — most likely that comes after IEM Cologne 2026. But Cache is playable right now on official servers and on FACEIT, and that alone is reason enough to jump on a server, brush up on your timings, and feel once again why this is one of the greatest maps in the history of Counter-Strike.

Пока что Cache добавлена в режимы Competitive, Casual, Deathmatch и Retakes, но в маппул про-сцены и Premier-режима не вошла. Впрочем, это лишь вопрос времени: с высокой вероятностью карта появится в официальном пуле уже после Мейджора IEM Cologne 2026 или с началом пятого сезона CS2 Premier.


Первое, что бросается в глаза при заходе на обновлённую карту – это свет. Cache стала значительно светлее: тёмные углы, которые годами были головной болью игроков, остались в прошлом. Карта ощущается чуть просторнее – VALVE явно ориентировались на требования соревновательной игры: читаемость углов, чистота силуэтов, отсутствие мусора в визуальном поле.
Главный вопрос любого переиздания классики: насколько далеко пошли разработчики? В случае с Cache ответ однозначный: структура осталась нетронутой, а вот визуальная оболочка была переосмыслена практически полностью и принесла более ощутимый дух постапокалипсиса. Карта стала более реалистичной, детализированной и атмосферной – движок Source 2 здесь явно работает в полную силу.
Отдельного упоминания заслуживает то, о чём в CS2 говорят нечасто: стабильный FPS! Оптимизация на новой версии карты ощутимо лучше, что крайне важно для соревновательного уровня и комфортной игры обычных игроков! FACEIT также уже обновили Cache до актуальной версии, поэтому готовьтесь играть на ней очень часто!


На первый взгляд VALVE не стали трогать баланс и правильно сделали. Тем не менее несколько нюансов всё же изменились:

• Дверь на А-плент больше не разбивается. Это серьёзно меняет динамику атаки и защиты точки: ряд привычных сплитов и тайминговых заходов придётся пересматривать.
  
• Окно на миде убрали. Одна из ключевых контрольных точек карты приобрела новый облик, что повлияет на стандартные контроли центра карты.
  
• Прострелы сквозь стены сохранены. Это была визитная карточка Cache – карты, где знание текстур решало исходы раундов не хуже точной стрельбы. Приятно видеть, что эту механику не тронули и уже не терпится зайти на сервер и выдать VAC-момент.

История возвращения карты началась в мае 2025 года, когда оригинальный создатель Cache – FMPONE, подтвердил, что VALVE официально выкупили права на карту. До этого игроки могли опробовать «авторскую» версию из мастерской Steam и поначалу именно она задавала планку ожиданий. Когда FACEIT добавил карту в соревновательную очередь многие жаловались на проблемы, но FMPONE уже не имел права ничего трогать, поэтому игроки мучались, но продолжали пикать её в своих матчах.
По итогу: версия VALVE ощутимо отличается от того, что предлагал FMPONE.
Дизайн FMPONE был тёмным – особенно в закрытых помещениях. Этот стиль подчёркивал мрачную постсоветскую эстетику, которую автор закладывал в карту изначально. Но именно эта тёмность, по всей видимости, и не устраивала разработчиков: почти год работы команды ушёл на то, чтобы открыть карту сообществу, не изменив её характер.
Отдельная потеря – витражи, которые были украшением закрытых пространств в версии FMPONE. Жалко? Безусловно. Но, скорее всего, они негативно влияли на производительность и их убрали ради стабильного FPS. Также VALVE избавились от культовых элементов: граффити s1mple, надпись “ЮГО-ЗАПАДНОЕ УПРАВЛЕНИЕ” на А-пленте, знак Серп и молот на точке B.
VALVE получили более «читаемую», более соревновательную карту. FMPONE – более авторскую и атмосферную. Обе версии по-своему хороши, но для соревновательного пула версия VALVE подходит лучше.


Cache всегда строилась вокруг образа Чернобыльской зоны отчуждения и VALVE не просто сохранили эту концепцию, но и углубили её. На обновлённой карте можно найти целый пласт исторических деталей, превращающих игровое пространство в своеобразный памятник трагедии 1986 года.

• При приближении к дозиметру звук в игре начинает трещать и искажаться — мелкая деталь, которая работает безупречно

Реакция на релиз оказалась предсказуемо тёплой – семь лет ожидания никуда не делись. Всё сообщество с восторгом встречают новое-старое детище VALVE и практически нет сомнений, что данная карта станет самой любимой у большинства игроков.
Даже сам s1mple совсем не расстроился отсутствием граффити, хотя многие фанаты до сих пор ностальгируют и хотят увидеть знаменитое изображение ангела с AWP в руках. Реакция Саши оказалась лаконичной и обезоруживающей:

Ранее (на предыдущих версиях ремейка) он жаловался, что без граффити карта “настоящий мусор”, но сейчас выглядит довольным.


Cache вернулась и вернулась достойно. VALVE потратили почти год на то, чтобы перенести культовую карту в стандарты Source 2, и результат говорит сам за себя: светлее, удобнее, детальнее. Структура, за которую игроки полюбили карту, осталась нетронутой, а новые детали добавили глубины.
До официального попадания в соревновательный маппул ещё предстоит подождать – по всей видимости, до окончания IEM Cologne 2026. Но уже сейчас в Cache можно играть на официальных серверах и на FACEIT, что само по себе повод выйти на сервер, вспомнить тайминги и заново прочувствовать одну из лучших карт в истории Counter-Strike.

At the beginning of March we already did a similar breakdown, and exactly one month later we’re back to analyzing the CS2 market on Steam. In this piece we decided not to touch on items that gained in value, focusing instead specifically on price drops — because that’s what makes investors and even regular players the most anxious. When everything goes up, the community stays calm, but when prices start falling, many people panic. To stop panicking and start developing a basic understanding of price forecasting and the reasons behind downturns, we’ll walk through several real cases from the past month. Let’s go!

The most obvious drop of recent days involves items from the new weekly drop collections released in early 2026. The key thing to understand here: this decline is almost impossible to stop. It may not be as steep as it was over the past month, but any potential recovery is simply out of the question. This is a completely logical and natural process for weekly drop skins, which every player receives after leveling up in-game.
Skins from these collections always get cheaper gradually — from lower quality to higher — since they appear in the game proportionally. First the market gets flooded with blue items, then purple ones start appearing, and eventually even Covert-quality items are no longer as rare as they were in the first days of the collection’s release. So if you’re lucky enough to get a rare item as a reward — get rid of it immediately, even if you really like it. Trust us, in a little while you’ll be able to pick it up for much less and come out ahead.

• M4A1-S | Stratosphere (The Ascent Collection) — -128% in a month

This weekly drop collection just turned exactly one year old (March 31), and you might think we picked it specifically to show “how these skins behave after a longer period.” However, the monthly decline for 2025 collections has leveled off at around 10–15%.
Here we’re drawing attention to a different factor that affects skin prices — in-game technical changes. A recent update touched the reload system, leaving the M4A1-S with noticeably fewer rounds than the M4A4. As a result, the weapon lost much of its distinctiveness, and few people want a skin in their inventory for a gun they won’t even bring to a server. These things are very hard to predict, but it is possible to some degree. Our advice: keep an eye on “duplicate weapons” (like the M4A1-S/M4A4 or USP-S/P2000 pairs) and off-meta picks (AUG, SG 553). Valve doesn’t like when players ignore parts of the arsenal, and they periodically try to fix that.

As you’ve probably gathered, Valve’s interventions are unavoidable when it comes to investing — and here’s another example of an update heavily impacting the marketplace. For over five years we saw no new gloves, and when the developers finally decided to treat players, they released a huge number of “duplicates” — skins that are very similar in design to existing ones. Let’s be honest: nobody is going to overpay for Emerald Web when they want green gloves for a matching set, now that Lime Polycam is available.
The price drop on new gloves makes perfect sense — more and more of them get opened from the Terminal every day. But few people expected the drop on Emerald Web or similar tier-S gloves. They seemed untouchable; these gloves even survived the crafting of gold items from Covert quality — yet the developers managed to surprise investors. Frankly, we don’t think this is accidental. We believe Valve is deliberately targeting large investors with expensive inventories, trying to give everyday players access to affordable alternatives.
Our advice: keep your CS2 investments balanced and don’t focus on just one type of item. Tomorrow they might release a Dragon Lore equivalent and shake up the entire market. That said, the core logic of investing in old items is long-term. Don’t rush to dump your old gloves — sooner or later players will get tired of the Dead Hand collection and want to revisit the classics.

While preparing this piece, we noticed a very unusual trend that we couldn’t fully explain — but decided to share our thoughts on it anyway. Skins from the last CS:GO operations — The Shattered Web and Operation Riptide (the 2021 Train collection was also part of that operation) — saw a sharp spike in late 2025 and are now showing a decline. What could be behind this? Both cases have long been at their supply cap, with no plans to get cheaper, and the skins themselves are gradually disappearing as they get crafted into knives. So what’s going on?
Almost certainly, big market players were involved — they most likely pumped the prices on these items themselves in late 2025. But why did those prices hold for nearly half a year? Typically these situational “boosts” last two or three weeks at most (as we recently saw with the PGL Stockholm 2021 Holo stickers). At this point, our best explanation is a double play by major investors. As many people see such a sharp decline, they’ll feel the fear of missing out and want to sell. At that moment, the investors will step in a second time and grab an even larger share of the limited market. After that, they’ll be able to push prices as high as they want and sell a product that’s nearly impossible to find anywhere else.

We also came across an interesting and fairly common case: two identical items in different wear conditions with completely different price trajectories.
Not long ago, one of the very first skins in the game’s history started showing significant growth. It seems many people noticed this and dug out their old accounts to take advantage of the situation and sell items that had been sitting around. Since statistically there are more Field-Tested skins than any other wear (they have the widest float range), it was those that flooded the Steam marketplace. The irony is that visually these are actually the most appealing versions of the skin — yet for investment purposes we wouldn’t recommend them precisely because of situations like this.
First of all, we recommend narrowing your focus to specific items, since tracking everything is practically impossible. Use the SIH extension and add items to your bookmarks (you can organize them into categories for convenience). Not sure which items to watch? Start by figuring out the cause: check all the news — updates, pro scene events, trader reviews — and if you find an explanation, react based on the situation.
First and foremost, we recommend deciding on a time horizon: how long are you willing to sit on your skins, or conversely, how quickly do you need to make a return (or at least break even). If you’re not planning to hold skins for the next 3–5 years, then react to any changes — sell anything that’s surging or crashing hard. In other cases, it’s better not to panic if you’re unsure and aren’t ready for a situational “portfolio reshuffle.”
As for buying, there’s no universal advice to give here. Your budget matters just as much as timing. The main buying tip we already covered: spread your investments across different item categories and you’ll be in good shape. In practice, where one area loses, another tends to gain — as we recently saw with Gold and Covert items.
